AGROFRESH UG began with a simple but powerful idea: what if fresh, organic Ugandan produce could reach every home as quickly as it’s harvested?

In 2019, our founders—a team of agricultural experts and tech innovators—saw two problems:

• Farmers struggled to get fair prices for their high-quality harvests.

• Customers paid premium prices for “fresh” food that had passed through multiple hands, losing flavor and nutrition along the way.

Driven by the belief that food should be both affordable and farm-fresh, we built Uganda’s first dedicated e-commerce platform for organic produce. Starting with just a handful of farmers and a bicycle delivery system, we’ve grown into a trusted network connecting hundreds of local growers to homes and businesses nationwide.
